High-Andean Natural Refuge for Endangered Wildlife

The ProAves Reserve Loros Andinos is part of the Threatened Andean Parrot Conservation Corridor in the Central Andes, located between the municipalities of Roncesvalles in the Tolima department and Génova in the Quindío department.

How to get there?

From the city of Ibagué, take the road to Roncesvalles, a journey of approximately 3 to 4 hours (104 km). Upon reaching Roncesvalles, continue along the road to Yerbabuena for another 45 minutes to reach the reserve.

Transportation Requirements Most of the route is unpaved, requiring a 4×4 vehicle.
