The annual Colombian checklist increased to 1,921 species, documented in the 23rd volume of Conservación Colombiana. The scientific journal also includes four other scientific papers ranging from a study on pelagic birds in the Caribbean, a checklist of Las Tángaras Bird Reserve and new biodiversity records from a rapid assessment of a tepuy in PNN Serranía de Chiribiquete.
