From ProAves, the biologist Andrea Pacheco coordinated environmental education activities such as painting, origami, and observations which show the importance of the endemic species of the island, the Vireo of San Andrés (Vireo caribaeus).
The event has the support of numerous institutions including Partners in Flight, National Wildlife Federation and the Puerto Rican Ornithological Society.
