LOCATION
It is located in the Colombian Pacific, on the western flank of the Western Cordillera, in the municipality of Argelia, department of Cauca, Colombia.
The Reserve is dedicated to the conservation of one of the most biodiverse sites in the country, such as the Chocó Biogeographic humid forest. The acquisition of this land will help consolidate a security zone for the protection of biodiversity, against rapid and unsustainable colonization and the loss of original vegetation cover of the humid forest.
