The Western Hemisphere Migratory Species Initiative (WHMSI) is a group of governmental and non-governmental organizations in the western hemisphere whose principal objective is to preserve all of the migratory species of the region along with their key habitats and their migratory routes.
Strong bonds of cooperation and good communication among nations will strengthen the preservation of biodiversity throughout the western hemisphere to the benefit of all of its people.
