ProAves and EcoTurs are proud to announce that we again represented Colombia at the world’s largest international bird watching event! This is the 5th year that we have been at the Birdfair promoting the conservation work of ProAves and incredible birding opportunities EcoTurs offers in Colombia.
This is an excellent opportunity for us to directly reach a wide audience of birdwatchers and let them know how birding with EcoTurs directly supports the conservation of Colombia’s most imperiled species.

This year we featured the upgraded infrastructure at five of our flagship bird reserves, the Women for Conservation Project and our recently released Field Guide to the Birds of Colombia.
About 600 people visited the stand and the Women for Conservation Project more than doubled last year’s sales! We plan to continue our presence at the Birdfair next year to continue strengthening old contacts and making new ones.
