“Birding at Congress” is an exhibition open to the public. The exhibition is located at the new building for Congress, between the hours of 10am and 5pm.
The exhibition is part of the IV annual International Forum Against Animal Abuse, convened by Senator Camilo Sanchez and Animal Environment Protection Network (REPPA/AEPN) with support from the Franz Weber Foundation.
A specific forum will be held inside the Luis Guillermo Velez Auditorium on Thursday the 23rd of February from 9am to 4 pm. This year it will feature a special presentation by Anna Mulá, a professor at the University of Barcelona, ??considered the greatest Latina expert on animal rights. Also, Núria Querol, Director of the Observatory of Violence Towards Animals in Spain, who is considered to be the most important scientist in comparative research between animal abuse and interpersonal violence.
In this same time frame, on Thursday February 23rd at 3:00 pm, ProAves will present its experience in the implementation of environmental education strategies developed and implemented throughout Colombia for over 12 years.
